Get to Know Dr. Andrea Csok
One of the greatest joys Dr. Csok gets from being a dentist is helping her patients achieve their dental and overall health goals. Better dental health leads to better overall health, as well as a more attractive smile, which can have a dramatic effect on a person’s life for many years to come.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Csok’s journey to becoming a dentist started where she grew up, a small village in Romania. There, she says that most people didn’t go to the dentist regularly and would only schedule appointments once their pain became excruciating. As a result, she Dr. Csok was afraid of the dentist! Her perspective changed when she moved to the United States. In middle school, she noticed that most of her classmates had braces, and this caught her attention because she had crooked teeth herself. The ability to change this fascinated her, and she eventually paid for her own braces while in high school. This firsthand experience seeing the positive impact of dentistry motivated her to become a dentist so that she could help people just like herself overcome their fear and enjoy all the benefits of a beautiful, healthy smile.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After graduating from John Carrol University, Dr. Csok earned her dental degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Since then, she has worked in multiple dental offices and has completed numerous hours of continuing education.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Away from the office, Dr. Csok’s favorite thing to do is spend time with family. Her husband, son and daughter love to go camping and hiking, especially in the Adirondacks. They enjoy traveling to Florida or visiting family in Hungary and Romania. Dr. Csok’s favorite destination is Switzerland. Doctor is a big coffee lover and likes her coffee extra hot.
