Meet Our Caring Pepper Pike Dentist
Dania Alfathi, DMD
Dr. Alfathi has nearly 20 years of dental experience, and she’s always excited to meet a new patient and show them what is possible for their smile.
Dr. Alfathi’s dental career began in her native Iraq, where she graduated in the top 25% of her class at the University of Mosul College of Dentistry. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Mosul West Bank Specialty Dental Center. This was followed by earning a Master of Science in Prosthodontics at the University of Baghdad College of Dentistry. After moving to the United States, she eventually graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
On top of practicing dentistry at a high level in multiple countries, Dr. Alfathi also has teaching experience, previously serving as part of the faculty at both the University of Mosul and College of Medical and Health Technologies in Baghdad. Her academic research has been published in the Journal of Baghdad College of Dentistry.
Dr. Alfathi is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, as well as the American Board of Oral Implantology.
Dr. Alfathi is happily married and the proud mother of a young boy and girl. She likes to spend her free time cooking, traveling, and hanging out with family. Because she grew up in the 5,000 year old city of Mosul, she has a big interest in history and museums as well.
